PRAYING THROUGH IT

John 16:13

But when He, the Spirit of truth comes. He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears. He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

SPEAK HOLY SPIRIT

Pray this prayer with me:

Good morning, Holy Spirit, this is my official invitation to You, for You to walk with me all day today. I give You permission to speak up, and to butt in, whenever You deem it necessary. Don’t let me think, or say, or do, anything that’s out of Your will for my life today.

Fix my broken heart today! Regulate my mind today and cause my thoughts to say “YES” to everything You’re doing. Give me the courage to “think myself happy”, through every challenge, and through every hardship.

Holy Spirit, cause me to be clear about Your will for my life, and then cause me to remain focused. Let me not be distracted by the things that so not matter.

In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
